I am very grateful to have completed my Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management at Australian Ideal College (AIC), where I studied from August 2024 to August 2026.
My journey with AIC actually began earlier, when I completed my Diploma of Leadership and Management from July 2023 to July 2024. After successfully completing that course, I decided to continue my studies at AIC and move into the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management. Looking back, I believe this was one of the best decisions I have made for my professional development.
The Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management has given me much more than just a qualification. It has helped me develop a deeper understanding of hospitality operations, leadership, financial management, marketing, human resources, legal compliance and strategic planning. These skills have been particularly valuable to me because I am also running my own hospitality business, LÊBINO the cafe in Cabramatta.
One of the people I would especially like to thank is my lecturer, Suchir Pandey. He is a very knowledgeable and experienced lecturer who genuinely cares about his students. He can be very strict when it comes to our studies and assessments, but I have come to understand that this is because he wants us to learn properly and achieve our best. His high standards encouraged me to take my studies seriously and pushed me to improve myself.
Mr Pandey’s knowledge of hospitality, management and business is enormous, and I learned so much from him throughout the course. What I particularly appreciated was being able to connect what we learned in class with real situations in my own business. The knowledge and confidence I gained from his classes have helped me look at my business from a more professional and strategic perspective.
I would also like to sincerely thank Katherine Quach, the Vietnamese Marketing Manager, for her support and assistance throughout my time at AIC. She has always been helpful and supportive, and I really appreciate the effort she has made to assist Vietnamese students and make our experience at the college more comfortable and positive.
Throughout my time at AIC, I have appreciated the practical and industry-focused approach to learning. The lecturers were not only focused on theory but also encouraged us to think about how the knowledge could be applied in real hospitality businesses. This was especially meaningful to me because I already had experience in business and wanted to develop the professional knowledge and skills necessary to take my business to the next level.
After completing the Advanced Diploma, I feel much more confident about my future in the hospitality industry. I now have a stronger understanding of how to manage and grow a business, and I feel better prepared to continue developing LÊBINO the cafe and pursue my long-term goals in hospitality.
I would like to sincerely thank Australian Ideal College, all of my lecturers and staff, especially Suchir Pandey and Katherine Quach, for their support, knowledge and encouragement throughout my studies.
I am proud to be an AIC graduate, and I would highly recommend Australian Ideal College to anyone who is looking for a practical, supportive and industry-focused place to study hospitality and management.
Thank you, AIC, for being an important part of my journey.
