Term 2 Memories

Term 2 officially came to an end last week. We hope all students are enjoying their well-deserved break and taking this time to relax, reflect on their learning, and perhaps do a bit of light revision or catch-up work.

Dr Tripathi taught the Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication to a small class of 12 students at our Adelaide campus. As a thoughtful way to wrap up the term, Dr. Tripathi has compiled and shared a summary of Term 2 highlights and class activities.

Please see below for the Term 2 memories he prepared.

Letter from a Trainer

Dear Students,

I hope you are doing well.

Time flies so fast, it seems that yesterday we just started, and didn’t realise how 9-10 weeks completed. I appreciate your efforts, particularly in the way you all improved your presentation skills, actively participated in class activities, and collaborated in groups. However, don’t stop here; you hold a lot of potential and calibre, and with continuous improvement, you can reach great heights.

“Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come.” —Dwayne Johnson

I am also thrilled to see your progress in terms of improvement in your communication, teamwork and leadership skills. You all showed your progress from the first unit in this term to the last one. I also observe that you cope with your stage fear, and give a compelling presentation, but still there is a lot of scope for improvement. You need to work harder.

Avoid taking shortcuts to achieve your goals. Work Hard, Smart, and give your 100% effort, and then success will be with you forever.

Have SMART Goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timebound

The shortcuts are temporary. Being ethical and working hard is the only key to success.

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” —Pelé

I wish you all the best for your future endeavours.

Regards
Dr. Abhishek Tripathi
